Simon Ladd, Xanthorrhoea. After the Fire. (AERIAL 2025)

Through bush care I witnessed devastation from Black Summer fires across vast areas of Kangaroo Island. But xanthorrhoea is often adapted to fire, and this stand not only survived, it flourished. Here we see a rare glimpse from above, in monochrome, to emphasise the form of this tough yet graceful native.
