Alex Houghton, Whispers of the Australian Wilderness (LANDSCAPE 2025)

As the fog lifts from the night, greeted by the first rays of morning, a magical dance of transition begins. The wilderness, resilient and untamed, unveils itself in fleeting moments of abstract clarity. Windswept condensation swirls like dancers before fading into the daylight, while the forest stirs, its life awakening in soft whispers. No two seconds are alike, as each breeze unveils a landscape that tells the story of time. I sit, still and present, as the wilderness speaks to me in its simplest form—breath.
