Levin Barrett, Wanaka Sunrise (LANDSCAPE 2023)

A moment of dawn light on "That Tree". This is my 3rd visit to this location in 5 years but it is the first time the water has been at the perfect level to get this beautiful reflection. This perfect light only lasted about 2 minutes before the sun rose enough to be obscured by cloud on the horizon. It was also the first time I had been here when I was the only photographer. Pre-Covid there were literally bus loads of tourists at dawn and dusk. It was such a treat and a serene moment in my life to have this place to myself!
