Tony Sernack, Tuscan fields (LANDSCAPE 2023)

I was part of a group walking part of the pilgrim trail through Tuscany. The Francigena has been used by pilgrims since the 4th century and runs from Canterbury to Rome. We were there in summer and many of the fields had been freshly ploughed ready for sowing. How they navigated some of the hills was a wonder.
