Feng Lu, Tom & Eva (LANDSCAPE 2025)

The photo was taken along the coastal line of Great Ocean Road, at a scenic spot known as "Tom and Eva," which is said to be inspired by a fascinating, fairy-tale-like story. That day, my wife and I arrived at the site about an hour before sunset. Perhaps due to the overcast, windy, and drizzly weather, the entire area was devoid of other visitors. As sunset approached, the clouds grew thicker, and occasional raindrops fell. Despite it being summer, the evening air carried a noticeable chill. Nevertheless, we decided to stay and wait. Then, as if by magic, the weather shifted dramatically. The moment the sun dipped below the horizon, the afterglow of the sunset quickly painted the sky in breathtakingly vibrant hues. "Tom and Eva" was once again illuminated in a way that felt enchanting and deeply moving, making our patience and perseverance utterly worthwhile.
