Alan Zhao, The Veil of Treasure (LANDSCAPE 2023)

This is an aerial picture taken in summer at Lake Bumbunga, SA. As the water recedes in mid-summer, the colour tones, layers, textures and pattern of the Salt Lake begins to reveal. This aerial view picture captures the coloured Salt Lake layers and textures which look like a veil or curtain made of treasure. There is no limitation of patterns from nature, the limit is within our imagination.
