arthur vay, The test (LANDSCAPE 2023)

I had the opportunity to photograph Mount Cook from Tasman Lake in New Zealand. The experience was truly breathtaking, as the snow-capped peaks of the mountain range rose majestically above the frozen waters of the lake. But capturing the perfect shot wasn't easy. I had to exercise a great deal of willpower and patience as I waited for the right moment to press the shutter button. The cold weather also tested my resolve, as I had to endure the biting winds and freezing temperatures in order to get the shot I wanted. Despite the challenges, I am extremely pleased with the final result. The image captures the beauty and grandeur of the mountain range, and serves as a reminder of the incredible power of nature and the determination required to capture its essence on camera. It was a great adventure and an unforgettable experience.
