Lex Rudd, The Painted Hills (LANDSCAPE 2023)

The Painted Hills are located within the land holdings of Anna Creek station. This area was an ancient inland sea bed. Over the past 80 million years this visual marvel has been created as a result of rain, weather and erosion. The slopes and shapes include many different colours. Erosion has caused top layers of soil to dry out and fall away revealing the colour beneath. This aerial image was captured with a Nikon Z7ii, 70mm, f4.5, 1/1000s and ISO 100.
