Seongjoo Han, Sydney Harbour Bridge of the Future (URBAN 2026)
I wanted to capture the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a sight I've seen every day, in a different way. "What if a future architect built another identical bridge right next to it?" I tried to capture both bridges in a single shot. With a 30-second exposure, I first exposed for 14 seconds, then covered the camera lens for two seconds, moved slightly to the right, and exposed for another 14 seconds. I took dozens of shots using the same method and chose the one I was most satisfied with. I've captured the twin bridges using other methods, and this is one of my favorites. Sydney's Harbour Bridge is a sculptural work of art that inspires me day and night.
