John Peters, Swish (URBAN 2025)
This was quite a difficult shot to pull off, as I needed a lot of dynamic range in order to have the basketball hoop (which had no direct light at all on it from my side) at the correct exposure, as well as avoiding highlight clipping from the supermoon behind. In addition to that, my exposure times when photographing the hoop with a telephoto lens were relatively long, being in the midst of a slight breeze. After plenty of shots, only two of them were successfully able to merge together for the dynamic range needed, creating this image of the Harvest Supermoon, as if it had fallen through the hoop.
