Sally Kirsch, Summerlands Old Pier (SEASCAPE 2025)

At Phillip Island we get some lovely extremes of weather, but how often the timing works that one can get out to capture it can at times be limiting. On this day a decent storm was approaching so out I went to this quiet spot, where the remnants of a long ago abandoned pier remain, now home to a large fairy penguin colony. I'm sure they were all too busy fishing to notice me wandering around their territory.
