Darren Wood, Sea at Night (SEASCAPE 2025)

This black-and-white seascape, was captured using a slow shutter speed and deliberate camera movement to evoke a sense of fluidity and transformation. A departure from traditional seascape imagery, the abstract nature of the piece invites the viewer to engage with the intangible emotions tied to the ever-changing tides. This image also forms part of my Silent Shores series. The soft, blurred tones suggest both movement and stillness. This image challenges conventional representations of the landscape by prioritizing mood and impression over detail.
