Theresa Lee, Sculptural (URBAN 2025)
In Australia much of Sydney’s bedrock is formed in sandstone. I was keen to find structural sandstone in its natural form yet constructed in an interesting way. Seeing long linear shadows cast by a rail fence reflected onto sandstone blocks around Barangaroo’s Marrinawi Cove, built as a public swimming enclosure, I felt this was the right place to capture an urban scape, so quintessentially Sydney in summer.
