Ngaire Hart, Scott Base (LANDSCAPE 2023)

Flew over Antartica on 20th November 2022 and right over Scott Base which is operated by New Zealand. It is near Ross Island and Mount Erebus, an active volcano Here, lies the boundary between the Ross Ice Shelf and the sea ice that forms every winter. From October to February, Scott Base is a bustling hub of scientists, staff and visitor with up to 300 people in the summer season. Note the distinct patch of green however, the snow had a dirty covering on it, not the pristine white I would have expected.
