Chris Doran, Rock Sculpture and Brewing Storm (SEASCAPE 2025)

Stavros Kyriakides, a local resident of Island Bay, Wellington, has been balancing rocks along the coastline since 2013. His sculptures are always temporary, as the coastline is often hit by strong winds. Here, one of his creations, a lump of wood and a smooth rock, stares at an brewing storm that will likely be its end.
