Michelle Stone, Outback Moonscape (LANDSCAPE 2023)

It’s not very often that you come across a landscape that is like no other that you have seen - White Cliffs, New South Wales - Outback Australia is a place like this. It’s a famous mining town, this little place that produces one of Australia’s famous gems - the Opal. When they mine for the Opal they create small round holes / tunnels which look like moon craters.
