Judith Morgan, Nitmiluk Survivor (LANDSCAPE 2023)

Nitmiluk National Park in the Northern Territory showcases a series of thirteen gorges carved into the sandstone of the Katherine River. The Jawoyn people, the traditional owners of the land, have lived in the area for thousands of years. Nitmiluk Gorge has fluctuating water levels depending on the season. This image, taken during the dry season, highlights the effects of fluctuating water levels on the sandstone, and shows a lone pandamus thriving in the extreme conditions.
