Mark Wassell, Night Elements - Nugget Point Aurora New Zealand (SEASCAPE 2025)

Such an incredible moment witnessing the aurora dancing over the Nugget Point lighthouse. I was there to capture the Milky Way, which I knew was going to rise right behind the lighthouse. Whilst taking these shots I suddenly realised that there was a faint green aurora glow appearing on the horizon, which quickly increased to produce the amazing dancing pink light in this image!
