Levin Barrett, Lake Tyrrell and Me (LANDSCAPE 2025)

On this night, there was absolutely no wind and the water was literally mirror finish. It is the only time I've had where looking down at your feet was just a bright as looking up at the stars. It was actually disorientating and on a few occasions I had to steady myself against the tripod. The star trail and reflection is genuine, no photoshop here. However, even on the night, I could see it was hard to convey the scale of the scene. Given the only thing around was me, I decided to put myself in as a point of interest and give the scene the magnitude it deserved.
