Highway One, Kununurra – where the outback meets the tropics. This image captures the dramatic beauty of a typical stormy Kimberley afternoon, with towering puffy cumulus clouds glowing from the evening sunset. Shot with a 200mm focal length, the curve of the streetlights and road draws you into the scene and compressors the images to almost touch those clouds. A unique contrast between nature’s raw power and everyday life in this remote yet vibrant town.
