Sharon Swan, Guiding Light – Point Lowly at Sunset (SEASCAPE 2025)
I captured this multi-image panorama at Point Lowly as the sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the lighthouse and surrounding landscape. The sky shifted through soft pinks, oranges, and blues, creating a perfect contrast against the deepening ocean. To bring out the full scale of the scene, I stitched multiple images together, ensuring the details in the foreground vegetation, rocky shoreline, and distant buildings. The lighthouse, with its beacon lit, became the natural focal point, standing tall against the changing sky. I aimed to balance light and shadow to highlight the textures of the rugged coast while maintaining the calm, expansive feel of the location.
