Jayden Thomson, Fez tannery (URBAN 2025)

The natural leather tanneries of Fez in Morocco have stood for hundreds of years. Men toil for hours in the vats of dyes, preparing the leather pelts, first by softening the leathers in pigeon poo for weeks before colouring the skins in huge vats of various colours.
