Mitchell Forrester, Eventful Night (LANDSCAPE 2025)

The Milky Way, Venus, Comet Tsuchinshan, sugar cane fire and a very old bridge. The Milky Way sets in the western sky, with Venus shining brightly below. To the right of Venus is Comet Tsuchinshan on its journey back out to the far reaches of our solar system. A smoke cloud in the distance glows with warm colour from the sugar cane fire burning beneath. All this occurring over the 119 year old McFarlane bridge and captured from the bank of the Clarence river in Maclean, NSW, Australia.
