Kathy Brown, Erosion (SEASCAPE 2025)

This picture with the worn tree trunk in the foreground depicts the results of our ongoing coastal erosion where this tree and many others washed up onto the beach after spending a lot of time drifting in the ocean. Taken at Shark Bay, Iluka, NSW where the coastline along this area was affected by bushfires a few years ago allowing the loss of many trees to collapse and drift out as the sand is eaten away by rising oceans and tides.
