Shaan Herbert, Embrace (LANDSCAPE 2023)

An attraction to the light and the coastal eucalypts sloughing their outer bark off in the summer after stormy weather led to this composition. The gentle light filtering down through the canopy gave this scene a welcoming emotion with the matriarch of the composition thrusting her arms out in an embrace of nature.
