Vicki-Louise White, DryCreek (LANDSCAPE 2023)

This was a was a chance find, I had noticed the light was pretty special after capturing a shot earlier. I scrambled over another 2 dunes and found this spot, there were small tufts of plants clinging to life in the normally dry sand, they were partying in the water that had formed over-night form some rain. There were remnants of ocean-life locked into the limestone bed, showing the beautiful past of the land. The water created the most amazing patterns in the sand and left a scene that took my breathe away, I knew at this stage I had captured the best scene I have ever shot at the time.
