This photo will always remind me to never lose hope. I was not feeling hopeful after many nights of bad weather. Then it happened, one day the weather and clouds cleared up right after sunset for the perfect show. It also coincided with the tide receding revealing spectacular details of the rocks and reflection of the aurora from wet surfaces.
