This is an aerial picture taken in summer at Lake Bumbunga, SA. As the water recedes in mid-summer, the colour tones, layers, textures and pattern of the Salt Lake begins to reveal. This aerial view picture captures the amazing coloured Salt Lake layers the patterns due to the movements of the salt water. Does it look like a splash of cream milk from a chocolate cake? There is no limitation of patterns from nature, the limit is within our imagination.
