Stuart Bell, COLUMBIA (LANDSCAPE 2025)

The largest river system in the Pacific Northwest region of North America starts right here, the Columbia Lake in British Columbia, Canada. With a drainage basin roughly the size of France which extends into seven states of the United States and one Canadian Province it’s no sprat at 2000 km in length. From the summit of Mount Swansea and by way of a 350mm focal length, the scene is compressed to reveal multiple layers from “The Valley of a Thousand Peaks”.
