Leanne Correia-Garces, Canoa (AERIAL 2025)

Participants from all areas of the island of Madeira, Portugal, come to Madalena do Mar on the south coast to take part in the yearly ‘Regata de Canoas’. A regatta race like no other, where traditional wooden canoes are carried (or dragged) in and out of the water, over the volcanic rocks that form the beaches of Madalena do Mar.
