My insatiable curiosity for "Abandoned Places" attracted me to check out this hidden gem off the beaten track near the east coast of Tasmania. The Cascade River gurgling through one of three holes cut into the dam wall of Mt Paris Dam/Tasmania when it became unsafe as a water storage. Could this be Australia"s answer to Angkor Wat?
