Framed by the old gidgea round yard, this Barcaldine backyard bursts green, a rare sight after a very long and dry season. This is where kids learn to ride their first horse, where dust turns to memories, and where the bush meets home. Land of the Iningai peoples, but home to The Wilson’s. Beyond the weathered rails, kangaroos stand quietly in the scrub, watching over a virgin landscape that thrives when the rain finally breaks the drought.
