leah mcmanus, Afternoon riverbed walks (LANDSCAPE 2023)

My family and I recently moved to a remote mining town in the Pilbara region a town called Paraburdoo. We went for a walk one afternoon to explore our new home. We came across a dry riverbed. The question of which way to go left or right? And off right we went stepping over pebbles as we wandered down exploring. We finally came to a spot that still had a small amount of water located under a gum tree with its roots exposed. This beautiful twisted mess that caught my eye and I was trapped in a photography daze until the sun was setting and it was time to go.
