The desert environment is so captivating to capture as it can offer many dynamic elements that can come together in great harmony in the right circumstances: textures, lines and curves, light and shadows. This image was captured at sunrise at The Big Drift, Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria. I was fortunate to have had the entire place to myself! As the early morning sun crept up through the clouds and casted its sweeping golden rays across the landscape, I was lost for hours in my own world capturing the unique beauty of this marvelous environment.
