Robin Moon, Weddell Sea sunset storm . (SEASCAPE 2023)
When katabatic winds blew up at sunset in the Weddell Sea in Antarctica most people retreated indoors, but for me, the magic was happening outside. Temps dropped to -10C whilst the 50km/hr winds howled , forcing me to stand safely back from the ships' edge.. Surprisingly a single sea bird was also enjoying the energy of the evening. I understood his pleasure.
