Larn Berge, Veil of the earth (LANDSCAPE 2027)
Chasing light underground is always a test of patience, balance, and fine tuning dynamic range. To get this exact perspective, I had to cram myself into a tight rock crevice, wedged inside a tiny hole to align the natural rock framing with the glow of the falling water, it was a cloudy day so there was only very small moments when the light was just perfect. The physical discomfort vanished the moment the exposure clicked, seeing the contrast between the raw, sculpted cavern walls and the silky movement of the plunge pool come to life made every cramped inch worth it. There’s something incredible about sitting inside a small cavern, listening only to the roar of water framed by millions of years of stone.
