Robert Skidmore, Triplets Strike (LANDSCAPE 2026)

On the 8th of November 2025 I stood at Coleyville Qld as a fast growing supercell raced towards me and the City of Brisbane. With Static in the air and strong inflow winds, I begun setting off 5 sec exposures in the hope of capturing a day bolt. As I set off my camera the entire landscape lit up with a bright pulsing flash. To my excitement I had captured a rare triple strike in that one exposure. Shooting at f/13 and iso-50 gifted me the perfect exposure and for me the perfect image for 2025.
