Udesh Hangili Gedara, The Welcome Light (LANDSCAPE 2026)

A photograph that I planned the most. I wanted to capture the aurora over Cradle Mountain. It was a clear night. I arrived at Dove Lake, and the moment I arrived, I realised that there was a faint aurora dancing over Cradle Mountain. I felt like it was a nice welcome light and I thought, "this is it". I was over the moon after seeing what I captured.
