Laura Symes, Strangers in the Night (URBAN 2025)
Late at night, with the air still heavy from the passing rain, I stood immersed in this tranquil yet dramatic scene. A brightly lit bridge arched gracefully across the river, its streetlights spilling warm pools of light into the calm waters below. Above, a brooding stormy sky loomed, a stark contrast to the vibrant streaks of red and gold light trailing across the bridge—ephemeral moments of motion, like strangers brushing past in the silence of the night. The world felt both alive and still, a perfect harmony of energy and calm.
