Peter Hill, Stjornarfoss (LANDSCAPE 2026)

When I first photographed Stjórnarfoss, almost a decade ago, it wasn't frequented that much. Located in eastern Iceland, it was tucked away off the main road. Nowadays it is a popular short detour for many to view. And photograph. On this particular day the sun had technically set, and a foggy rain had set in, with the waterfall only coming into view after you commenced the short hike to it.
