Steve Kelsall, Staircase to Sunrise (SEASCAPE 2023)

I shot this sunrise image in November 2022, from Broome WA's Roebuck Bay Lookout, as part of a suit of images I shot to capture some lasting memories of my time in Broome (5 years). I called this image "Staircase to Sunrise" because what we are usually treated to in Broome is 'Staircase to the Moon', where a 'rising' full moon casts a reflection across the mudflats during low tide, but in this case it was the sun 'rising'. Image captured with my NIKON D4S with NIKKOR 24-120 mm lens, ISO 100, f/6.3 at 1/160 sec.
