Diane Armstrong, Silenzio Veneziano (URBAN 2026)
Rain falls softly in Venice, muting sound and slowing movement. In this moment, the city’s lamps glow eerily, a continual reminder of Venice's romantic charm — watchful, enduring. Though there is movement, the prevailing sensation is stillness: footsteps softened, reflections stretched, time momentarily suspended. Venice becomes less a spectacle and more a state of feeling. Here, silence is not the absence of life, but its quiet continuation — a pause where architecture, weather and its creators exist in delicate balance.
