Jackson Redshaw, Shark Bay Afterglow (AERIAL 2026)
The last breath of colour as day fades over Western Australia’s Shark Bay. A long, empty stretch of road draws the eye towards a glowing horizon, where storm clouds gather and the sky burns in layered reds, golds and deep blues. The still water reflects the changing light, creating a calm counterpoint to the drama overhead. Taken at Monkey Mia, the image sits in that quiet moment between movement and stillness, travel and arrival, heat and rain. It’s a portrait of distance and atmosphere, inviting viewers to pause in the in-between and feel the scale of the landscape as night begins to settle.
