Chris Freelance, Seagulls, sand, sea, sky (SEASCAPE 2023)

This view of Wollongong harbour has all the classic elements of a seaside view: seagulls, sand, the ocean, boats, and even lighthouses on the horizon. The wet tract of sand where water had recently flown leads the eye into the harbour and appeared to take the shape of a whale’s tail, alluding to the marine life often observed just beyond the harbour.
