Nilmini De Silva, Salt, Sunrise and Shadows (AERIAL 2025)

This image was captured at sunrise at Lake Tyrrell, a salt lake in Victoria. The low, golden light at this time of day creates wonderful long shadows caused by the trees that almost appear like jagged peaks. The drama caused by the time of day this image was captured adds another dimension to the image that is not often seen in aerial photography.
