Rudy Kalele, Print Pattern Outback (AERIAL 2024)

This is not a photo of some printed fabric! After booking my flight from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City, I studied the flight route. Luckily it was passing over the Queensland Outback and in the afternoon. In anticipation, I secured a window seat and prepared the mirrorless camera - wide angle lens combo to capture as much as one can from wide bodied jet window. The landscape that passed by was truly mid-boggling. This is one of the images taken from 38,000 feet as we crossed from the New South Wales border into south -west corner of Queensland. To enjoy this image in its full glory, one needs to see the printed copy in an A0 size.
