Magic revealed itself as I watched the soft hues of sunrise rise against the gothic silhouette of Mont-Saint-Michel. Their reflection in the calm tidal waters, ethereal and otherworldly. Only the rocky bank beneath my feet and the whispered wind across the water kept me tethered to the earth.
