Nilmini De Silva, Outback Arteries (AERIAL 2026)
It was a rare privilege to witness the flooding around the Lake Eyre basin from the air in 2025. One of the highlights was capturing the the intricate, meandering water patterns of the Channel Country. Water is life in the Outback region of Australia and when it floods, it is a life source for so many. From the air, it felt like looking down on the arteries of a vast living continent.
