Julie Hillin, Otherworldly (LANDSCAPE 2026)

The milky way appears over the ancient limestone spires that rise from the yellow desert sands of the Pinnacles Desert in the Numbung National Park. Indigenous spiritual meaning considers the formations to be sacred, representing fossilized spirits or warriors. Clouds were rolling in and starting to form on the horizon threatening to cover the milky way. I had to pick my moment to reveal the stars at the tail end.
