Michelle Hartnett, Ocean untamed (SEASCAPE 2026)

Big swells and a wild ocean create the perfect combination for capturing spectacular moments at my local breakwall in Ballina, New South Wales. To capture this image, I was photographing from the North Wall as the waves were exploding like fireworks around South Wall on the opposite side of the channel where the Richmond River meets the sea. The sound of the waves impacting the rocks was just as incredible as the view!
